DocMedi24 — Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 28, 2026

Welcome to DocMedi24. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our software platform, dashboards, and prescription management features. By accessing or using DocMedi24, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.

1

Scope of Service

DocMedi24 provides a digital cloud infrastructure designed to assist registered healthcare professionals in generating, managing, printing, and storing medical prescriptions, lab reports, and clinical records. The platform is a clinical workflow management tool and does not provide direct medical advice, diagnoses, or healthcare services.

2

User Accounts and Eligibility

Medical Practitioners: Access to the prescription creation panels is strictly limited to verified medical practitioners holding an active registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC). You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated professional credentials during the onboarding process.

Clinical Assistants & Staff: Doctors may provision sub-accounts for clinical assistants, technicians, or staff members. The primary doctor account owner maintains absolute responsibility for all activities, data mutations, and entries performed by their authorized staff profiles.

3

Account Security & IP Restrictions

Credential Protection: You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your account usernames, passwords, and authentication tokens. Sharing credentials across unauthorized personnel or outside your clinical team is strictly prohibited.

Security Extensions: To preserve patient privacy, users are highly encouraged to activate our advanced security mechanisms, such as IP-Restricted Access Control, which locks clinical dashboards to verified physical workplace networks or static IP ranges.

4

Dynamic Patient Management and System Boundaries

To enforce data isolation and privacy regulations across independent practices, users agree to the following system behaviors:

  • Doctor-Patient Relationship Isolation: A doctor can only access, view, or search patient profiles that exist within their own validated clinical relationship scope (i.e., patients they registered or authored a prescription for). Unrelated patient profiles remain completely inaccessible and unsearchable.
  • Non-Unique Identifiers & Duplicate Tracking: Multiple independent doctors are permitted to add a patient using the same phone number to their separate lists. To prevent cross-contamination of independent medical files, the system assigns a Unique Patient ID to each record instance. Doctors only possess authorization over records tied directly to their respective matching identifiers.
5

Medical Responsibility and Disclaimer

Clinical Accountability: DocMedi24 acts solely as a technological processing medium. The absolute responsibility for the accuracy of custom medicine names, dosages, meal instructions, selected medical tests, and diagnostic summaries rests entirely with the prescribing medical practitioner.

Custom Data Inputs: The platform provides automatic autocomplete suggestions for convenience. If a user bypasses these database tags to enter custom text strings for medicines or medical tests, they assume full responsibility for ensuring the clinical validity of that manual text.

System Adjustments: While the platform optimizes layouts to tightly budget font scaling and row padding for standard printing or downloading, the doctor must briefly verify the visual integrity of the generated layout before issuing the physical copy to a patient.

6

Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in any of the following restricted activities:

  • Attempting to bypass, reverse-engineer, or breach the platform’s role-based access security walls.
  • Entering fraudulent or unverified professional credentials (e.g., placeholder BMDC registration numbers).
  • Using the platform to distribute unauthorized advertisements, promotional pharmaceutical links, or unsolicited communications.
  • Modifying lab reports or clinical documents outside of designated, time-bound verification windows to misrepresent patient data.
7

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or completely terminate access to your DocMedi24 account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we discover a violation of these Terms, non-compliance with healthcare regulations, or actions that threaten the integrity and privacy of the platform's user base.

8

Amendments to Terms

DocMedi24 reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be published directly to this page with an updated timestamp. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes formal acceptance of the revised Terms.

Professional Use Agreement

By using DocMedi24, licensed practitioners and authorized staff agree to uphold clinical accountability, data isolation rules, and responsible platform conduct.
